Adventures in Tourism – a tourism industry camp sponsored by the Rotary Club

Program Details:
The Rotary Adventures in Tourism program promotes a greater level of understanding and appreciation for the value tourism represents to communities across Canada. The program will promote an understanding of the vocational opportunities present within this growing and important industry. This program will expose students to the inner workings of a variety of specific tourism based industries with the intent of clarifying both the question of how these operations function and why they are integral components of our communities.

Dates: March 25 – 30, 2018 | Travel Dates: March 24 & 30 | Location: Kelowna, BC

Applicants must:
1. Be a Grade 11 or 12 student between 15-18 years of age on January 1
2. Submit an application form, along with the Statement of Interest and Character Reference by January 19, 2018.

Interview Process:
1. Each High School will select one candidate to be interviewed by the Rotary Club of Burnaby.

If you want to be Alpha’s candidate, come and see Ms. McChesney in room 325 by Monday, January 8th for an application form.

2. Date of Interview: January 31, 2018 between 12:30pm and 3:30pm
